Privacy Policy for Dusty Spaces

Dusty Spaces is operated by Paradokkusu.io . This Privacy Policy explains what information Dusty Spaces collects, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
When you use Dusty Spaces, we may collect:
- Google account information: Your name, email address, profile image, and account identifier when you sign in with Google.
- Home organisation data: Spaces, containers, items, surfaces, care tasks, schedules, completion history, progress, and preferences that you create.
- Photos: Photos you choose to take or select for spaces and items.
- Technical and diagnostic information: App version, device and operating-system information, crash reports, error details, and related diagnostic data.
Dusty Spaces only accesses your camera or photo library when you choose to add or replace a photo.
How we use your information
We use this information to:
- Create and secure your Dusty Spaces account.
- Save and synchronise your spaces, items, tasks, photos, and progress.
- Provide task suggestions and calculate in-app progress.
- Diagnose crashes, maintain reliability, and improve the app.
- Respond to support, privacy, or account-deletion requests.
We do not sell your personal information. Dusty Spaces does not currently display advertisements or use your information for third-party advertising.
Services we use
Dusty Spaces uses Google services including:
- Google Sign-In
- Firebase Authentication
- Cloud Firestore
- Firebase Storage
- Firebase Crashlytics
These services process and store information on our behalf. Their handling of information is also governed by the Google Privacy Policy and Firebase Privacy and Security information.
Your information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live, subject to the safeguards provided by Google and applicable law.
Data security
We use authentication and Firebase security rules designed to keep each user’s information private to their account. However, no online service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Data retention and deletion
Your account information, home data, tasks, progress, and uploaded photos are retained while your Dusty Spaces account remains active.
You can delete your account from within the app:
- Open the account menu.
- Select Delete account.
- Follow the confirmation steps.
Deleting your account permanently removes your Dusty Spaces account, Firestore data, and uploaded images. This action cannot be undone.

Limited diagnostic information may remain for a short period under Firebase’s standard retention and backup processes or where retention is required by law.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal information.
You can update much of your content directly within the app, delete individual content, or delete your entire account. You may contact us to exercise any additional privacy rights.
Children’s privacy
Dusty Spaces is not designed for children who are below the minimum age required to consent to the use of online services in their country.
If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us so we can investigate and remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, our services, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
