Planning & Mindset

Setting Realistic Goals
Instead of aiming for masterpieces, I focused on consistency and exploration. The goal was simple: one ink drawing per day, no matter how small or imperfect.
Key Principles:
- Progress over perfection
- 15-30 minutes maximum per drawing
- Embrace happy accidents
- Document everything
Building the Habit
Creating a sustainable routine was crucial. I established a morning drawing ritual with coffee, setting up my workspace the night before.
Routine Elements:
- Same time each morning (7:30 AM)
- Dedicated workspace by the window
- Materials laid out beforehand
- Phone in airplane mode
